WHY THE ACADEMY

100+ ACADEMY GRADUATES TRANSFORMING LIVES

“I have reflected back on what I have learned at the Academy almost daily. What we learned there together has made me a better coach, but has also made me a better husband and father.”

-STETSON DICKERSON, FOOTBALL COACH, ACADEMY GRADUATE

“I am very thankful for my experience with the Leadership Academy as it’s helped my clarity as a coach, mainly to help me identify my WHY.”

-GARY POPE, ENSWORTH

“Being in this community of NCC and the Leadership Academy gets you out of that mindset that you’re in it by yourself. There’s other people in your area and in your community and in your sport that are struggling with and dealing with and having success with the same things that you are.”

-ANDREW SHAW, ACADEMY GRADUATE

You don’t get put in a room with other coaches very often that are not from your school that you don’t know. We’re hearing from all these different perspectives. I don’t know if I can put a name on how valuable it is but it’s probably the most valuable thing I’ve ever done for coaching.”

-MORGAN BIDDY, ACADEMY GRADUATE

MAKING A LASTING IMPACT IN THE LIVES OF YOUR ATHLETES

WHAT TO EXPECT

In the Academy, coaches are invited to step away from the routine and repetition of practice and games and are reminded of their impact and importance on the young lives they lead. Through small-group discussion and workshops led by leadership experts and professionals, coaches connect with each other and learn the tools needed to ensure that their players are prepared for life, not just for the game.

ENERGY

gain renewed energy to lead and mentor your athletes

COMMUNITY

grow your network of like-minded coaches

CLARITY

IDEAS

OUR PROCESS FOR CHANGE

We know change takes times. Here’s how we guide you towards being a more influential leader.

INSTRUCTIONS

Just like the X’s and 0’s, transformational leadership can be learned. Interact with coaching and psychology experts from across the country to learn the foundation skills needed to be a meaningful influence to those you lead.

PRACTICE

Transformational growth does not happen behind a screen or book. Our interactive sessions will challenge you to take content and put it into practice so that you are ready when the lights come on.

SUPPORT

Influential leaders know they have to seek out the guidance of peers and mentors to succeed. At The Academy, you’ll build a network full of both.
